Since suspending all elective surgeries in the middle of March, we have remained dedicated to our patients’ most urgent needs. We have implemented multiple additional precautions to provide the safest possible environment, in accordance with the most up-to-date information available to us.
We are all in this together, so here are some of the measures we are implementing to ensure the safety of our team, patients and all our families:
We are coordinating with the American Dental Association® to acquire tests and regularly test our team for COVID-19. We are also taking extra precautions for our patients’ safety by installing multiple physical barriers to further reduce the risk of cross contamination, applying additional sanitary techniques to further disinfectant patient rooms (all of which are private rooms) beyond CDC guidelines and have invested in acquiring multiple layers of PPE, including N-95 surgical masks (to be worn under traditional surgical masks), in addition to surgical gowns and eyewear for all surgical procedures.
LIMITED OFFICE ACCESS
In every effort to maintain social distancing recommendations, we kindly ask that only the scheduled patient enter the office for their appointment. One legal guardian will be allowed to accompany minors into the practice lobby but will be asked to wait in their vehicle during treatment to minimize patient volume within our lobby.
All necessary follow-up appointment scheduling and financial counseling conversations will be replaced with email communications to eliminate face-to-face cross-contamination risks.
To further reduce your time in our lobby, we ask that new patients complete their online registration 24 hours ahead of their scheduled appointment and also photograph and email the front and back of their photo identification and medical and dental insurance cards to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We ask that you call to reschedule your appointment if any of the following are applicable:
- You are experiencing any of the following symptoms: respiratory symptoms (runny nose or congestion), fever, cough, sore throat, body aches or shortness of breath. Also, please make us aware if you have had contact with anyone who is/has been ill with any of these symptoms.
- Within the past two weeks, if you or someone you have been in contact with has recently travelled from a CDC designated high-risk area or have come in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
We thank all our patients, team and the community for working together during these difficult times. Your patience and confidence in our practice is truly appreciated. We will always strive to maintain the strictest protocols for everyone’s safety and are constantly reassessing our protocols and adjusting, as deemed necessary, based on the most current guidelines available to us.
Please call us at (585) 424-3310 or email email@example.com with any questions or concerns regarding the above information.
