Will You Accept My Insurance?

Most likely. We work with many PPO providers, so there is a good chance we work with yours. Be sure to give us call to verify your insurance when making an appointment.

Why Am I Paying for Out-of-Pocket Expenses When I Have Insurance?

Your insurance plan will only cover a certain amount of your treatment costs. For example, most plans cover 80-100% of preventive care, which include your cleanings, exams and X-rays, and maybe 50% of restorative work, such as a dental crown or a bridge. It is your responsibility to pay for the remaining balance after coverage, and we can do our best to help you estimate your payment.

I Left Your Office Paying the Amount You Told Me, and Now I Have a Bill Telling Me I Owe More. What Happened?

During your visit, our dental team does the best we can to determine your out-of-pocket expenses, but there may be a few different factors for why you received a bill asking you to pay more. These include:

  • Your treatment was not covered by your plan.
  • You have not reached your deductible or the end of your plan’s waiting period.
  • You have already used all your benefits for this year.
  • Your insurance paid a lower percentage than anticipated.

We know navigating insurance benefits and coverage can be confusing. If you ever have any questions, you can always reach out to us. We would be happy to help.

I Was Told I Need a Certain Dental Procedure Performed, but It Is Not Covered on My Insurance Plan. Can I Just Undergo a Different Procedure That Would Work Just the Same?

Not exactly. Our dentist diagnoses problems with your teeth based on your own individual needs, not your insurance coverage. If you are having a hard time finding a way to pay for this treatment, let us know. We offer a variety of financing options to help you receive the care you need.

My Insurance Has Changed, What Do I Need To Do?

Call us to verify your new insurance carrier or changes in your plan. If you are unsure if there was a change in your plan, reach out to your employer for a new insurance card.
